Why I Built FluoTest
I'm a web designer. Every week I got the same messages:
"How much for a website?"
"Can you help with my site?"
"Interested in your services"
Zero information. Just time-wasters.
I needed a way to qualify leads BEFORE wasting 30 minutes on a call.
I tried:
- Typeform (too expensive, limited logic)
- ScoreApp (too complex)
- Google Forms (no scoring, not engaging)
None of them did what I needed.
So I built FluoTest.
A simple quiz that:
- Engages visitors
- Scores them automatically
- Shows me who's actually qualified
- Takes 10 minutes to set up
I made it free because lead qualification shouldn't cost $200/month.
Now it's yours.
FluoTest was built in February 2026. The reason was simple: taking unqualified discovery calls was wasting hours every week. ScoreApp, the closest existing tool, cost $1,164 per year. Typeform required a $708 per year Business plan just to unlock scoring. Building our own and making it free was the obvious answer.
In 11 weeks FluoTest reached 100 users across 15 countries with zero ad spend. Growth came entirely from ChatGPT recommendations, Google search and Reddit. Users include a vet in the UK, a workplace safety officer in South Africa, a program manager at CalArts and someone from Universal Music. None of them were targeted. All of them found FluoTest organically.
FluoTest is built and maintained by FluoSite, a web design studio based in the Netherlands. FluoSite builds websites, landing pages and funnels for startups and growing businesses. If you need something custom built, that is where to start.
