Team Workspaces

A team workspace is a shared space where a workspace owner and teammates work on quizzes with shared access and shared analytics, separate from personal quizzes.

How do team workspaces work in FluoTest?

Every account gets one personal workspace by default. On Pro, you can create team workspaces, invite teammates by email, and move quizzes into them so members can view or edit them and see shared analytics — all under the workspace owner's Pro plan, with no per-seat pricing.

What a workspace is

Every FluoTest account has one personal workspace by default — private, single-user, and free. A team workspace is a separate, shared space: it's Pro-only, created when you need to collaborate, and any quiz you move into it becomes visible to the teammates you've given access to. Personal quizzes stay private unless you move them into a team workspace.

Roles and permissions

Each team workspace has three roles. The person who creates the workspace is always its Owner.

RoleCan do
OwnerEverything: invite and remove members, change any member's role, move quizzes in and out, rename or delete the workspace, and pay for the Pro plan the workspace runs on.
AdminInvite new members and change a Member's role. Cannot change another Admin's role, remove the Owner, or delete the workspace.
MemberWork with quizzes shared into the workspace, according to the View or Edit access set on each quiz. Cannot invite others or change roles.

How to invite a team member

  1. From the sidebar, create a team workspace (or switch into an existing one you own or admin).
  2. Open the workspace's member settings and enter the teammate's email address.
  3. FluoTest emails them an invite link. When they accept, they join the workspace — on their own account, even if it's a free account.
  4. As Owner or Admin, set each shared quiz's access to View or Edit so members see the right level of control.

Sharing a quiz

Move a quiz from your personal workspace into a team workspace to share it — it stays a single quiz, just visible to whoever has access rather than only you. Each shared quiz has its own access setting: View lets members see the quiz and its analytics without editing it; Edit lets them make changes too.

How shared analytics work

Any member with at least View access to a shared quiz can see its analytics dashboard — submissions, scores, and drop-off data — the same view the quiz's owner sees. There's no separate per-member analytics; everyone with access looks at the same numbers.

Switching between workspaces

Use the workspace switcher in the dashboard sidebar to move between your personal workspace and any team workspace you belong to. Quizzes, folders, and analytics are scoped to whichever workspace is currently selected.

Billing

One Pro subscription covers the whole team: the workspace owner pays, and every member — including teammates on their own free accounts — gets Pro features for quizzes inside that workspace. There's no per-seat pricing.

Frequently asked questions

How do I invite a team member to FluoTest?

As the workspace Owner or an Admin, open the team workspace's member settings, enter the teammate's email, and send the invite. They join on accepting the emailed link, even if they only have a free FluoTest account.

What permissions do team members have?

It depends on their role and, per quiz, whether they have View or Edit access. Members work within quizzes shared to them; Admins can also invite people and manage Member roles; only the Owner can remove Admins, delete the workspace, or manage billing.

Can I have multiple workspaces?

Yes. Beyond your one personal workspace, you can create more than one team workspace, and you can be a member of team workspaces other people invite you to — the workspace switcher lists all of them.

Do my teammates need their own Pro subscription?

No. Pro features apply to the whole team workspace under the owner's single subscription — members use their own account, free or Pro, and inherit Pro features for quizzes inside that workspace.
