What Is Conditional Logic?
Conditional logic is a rule that shows, hides, or branches to a different question or section based on how someone answered an earlier question, so each respondent only sees what's relevant to them.
Why Conditional Logic Matters
Without conditional logic, every respondent sees the same fixed list of questions in the same order, whether or not those questions actually apply to them. A homeowner and a renter both get asked about roof age.
With conditional logic, the quiz adapts. Answer "I rent" and the roof-age question never appears. Answer "I own" and a follow-up about the roof shows up automatically. The result is a shorter, more relevant quiz and cleaner data, since you're not collecting answers to questions that didn't apply.
