Import a quiz from a PDF
Have your questionnaire as a PDF? Go to Dashboard → Tests → Import → PDF and upload it. FluoTest extracts the text and does its best to turn each numbered question and its answer list into a scored question. This works best on a text-based PDF (not a scanned image) — review the result before publishing.

Go to Dashboard → Tests → Import → PDF and upload a .pdf file (a text-based one, not a scanned image — scanned pages have no extractable text).

Number your questions ("1.", "2.", ...) and mark answer options with letters or bullets ("a)", "•", "-") for the clearest results.

Add a score to each option by writing it after a dash, in parentheses, or in brackets — for example "Not urgent (0)", "Somewhat urgent (1)". Leave scores out and FluoTest scores the options 0, 1, 2… in order.

A two-option list of "Yes" and "No" becomes a native yes/no question automatically.

Name your quiz and import it. PDF has no heading structure to detect, so every question lands in one section — you can split it into sections afterward in the builder.

Your new quiz opens as a draft. Since this is a best-effort import, check every question, option, and score before publishing.
