Ask for contact details and hide results after submitting
Two quiz-wide settings decide what happens once someone finishes your quiz: whether they leave their contact details first, and whether they see their result at all. Both are free on every plan.
- 1
Open the quiz, go to Settings and open Results & scoring. The After submitting card is at the top.
- 2
Turn on "Ask for contact details before showing the result". Choose email or phone, and whether it is required; when it isn't, respondents can skip it. Turn on "Also ask for their first name" if you need a name too.
- 3
The form appears for every respondent, whatever tier or outcome they get, so you don't have to add a contact step to each outcome. The address it collects is also where the results email goes. Anonymous mode turns the form off.
- 4
Under "What respondents see", choose "Show only a confirmation message" to hide the result. Respondents then see a short confirmation instead of their score, tiers, scores per category and outcome. The result video and the report download are hidden too.
- 5
The confirmation uses your Thank-you page title and text if you set them. Otherwise it shows "Thanks, your answers are in", which you can change under Experience → Advanced → Advanced Texts.
- 6
You still see the full result in your submissions, integrations still receive it, and outcome buttons and redirects still work. If the results email is on, respondents get their result by email, with the PDF attached when you turn that on. This is how to send results privately, for example when you want to review the answers before a call.
- 7
On quizzes with several scores you can also hide a single score: in Results & scoring, switch off "Show to respondents" on that score. It still counts for outcomes and you still see it.
