Send emails from your own domain
On the Pro plan you can verify your own domain for sending, then send respondent result emails from it — like notifications@yourbrand.com — instead of notifications@fluotest.com. This is separate from the custom domain used to host your quizzes.
- 1
Go to Settings → Profile and find the "Custom sending domain" section. (This is a Pro feature.)
- 2
Enter a domain or subdomain, for example mail.yourbrand.com — a subdomain is recommended to keep your main domain's reputation separate from your emails — then click "Verify domain".
- 3
Open your domain provider's DNS settings and add the SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records shown.
- 4
Back in FluoTest, click "Check status". DNS can take a few minutes to a few hours to propagate.
- 5
Once it shows "Verified", choose the mailbox you want to send from (e.g. "notifications", "hello") and, optionally, a different Reply-To address for respondent replies. Save your choice.
- 6
Every account, free or Pro, also gets Reply-To set to their own account email by default, even without a verified domain.
For the full DNS record reference, see the custom sending domain docs.
